My Home's in Alabama................

What a WONDERFUL time we had in Alabama. Jeff and I often sing the old Alabama song "My Home's in Alabama...no matter where I lay my head.....". We believe that too! We may live in Mississippi and though it is still the south, it will never be home. Mississippi is a good place and we enjoy living here, don't get me wrong, but there is just something about Alabama that I LOVE!!!!! Maybe it's because me and my entire family were born and raised there or maybe it's because the Crimson Tide calls it home, or maybe it's because it's just plain AWESOME!!!!!! Anyway we got to cross over into the majestic state a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful. We pulled our camper over to Open Pond and stayed for 6 days. We got to see so many of our friends while we were there. I took some pictures of our last day when we went to Blue Lake. These were just a few of the people we got to see but there were many others like Donna, Ron, Evan and Abi Yates (whom I love dearly)!!! They promised that they are coming over to Mississippi to see us soon, but I'll believe it when I see it. We also got to see Sandra and Ashley Kelley and this little boy. They said his name was Landon but I don't believe them because the Landon I remember was a little baby the last time I saw him.
