Tonight at church our minister of music hosted a "Back to School" fellowship. He asked for all of the members to bring school pictures of themselves without any names. He posted them on a couple of folding boards and let everyone try and guess who they were. It was so much fun! I almost did not participate but I mentioned it to my mom and a couple of days later, I received an entire envelope full of old school pictures. Since I was doing it, I insisted that Jeff call his mom and she e-mailed us some of Jeff. As I examined these pictures of myself, I recall thinking I was pretty darn cute at the time. Poor kid, if she only knew how ridiculous she looked! And then there's my pitiful looking husband with his nappy hair and those horn rimmed glasses. Need I say more???? I am really thankful that we do eventually get out of those awkward stages. Hope everyone has a great school year!!!

Oh don't worry, all I can say is that it's a good thing I met Jeff as an adult!!! Plus, look at me. I mean check out that rust corduroy blazer and ruffled Susan B. Anthony blouse!
