All I want for Christmas is my 6 front teeth

About a month ago my sweet boss, Dr. Scott Martin decided that it was finally time that I have a nice smile. I mean there wasn't anything THAT bad about my old one, but I had many fillings on my front teeth and they were really kind of small. Of course, being a dentist who has been practicing for over 20 years, he could take one look at my mouth and see every imperfection. I too, was pretty self conscious. Especially working at a dentist office with all of these beautiful girls with the most perfect teeth. Dr. Martin began to prep my teeth for solid porcelain crowns all across the front of my mouth. I could lie and say that it was a breeze, but I would be telling a humungous lie!!! In fact, it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had. Dr. Martin did a great job but just being in the chair for 4 hours straight, made a person like me crazy. I had to be quiet and could not talk at all. I did get a restroom break or two. He fitted me for a set of temporary crowns until my permanent ones could be made at the lab. I got to even go to the lab and watch how they make them. It is really fascinating to see. The next time you complain about how much dental work costs, just know that there is a tremendous amount of work that has gone into every single procedure. I feel blessed to work for such a wonderful Doctor who cares about his patients but also his employees. Friday I had my "real" crowns delivered and I am so proud of them. My thanks to Dr. Martin, his wonderful staff and the terrific staff at Thompson Dental Studio. You all have given me something to smile about!!!!!

Very nice indeed. Now ... do they eat (perform) as good as the others did??? As long as it doesn't affect your cooking, it's great with me!

You absolutely crack me up. That first picture looks like you are about to go in for your nose and dig out some huge big bugger and eat it with your freshly whitened teeth (remember doing this as a child) LOL!! The second one with you and that contraption on your nose makes you look like you have a pig nose and if that isn't enough, you've got your big mouth wide open!!! Rebecca thank you for making me laugh and bringing a smile to my face. I needed that. And you always have what I need when I need it! I LOVE YOU REBECCA TAYLOR!!
:) Miss you, Merry Christmas!!!
