Dancing in Fields of Grace

As you can see by the post I made earlier today, I have had a really fun weekend. Actually it started on Friday. We woke up early and got Will ready for school. Jeff and I dropped him off at school and then we headed to Hattiesburg to see one of our sweet church members. She was having a beautiful baby. Jeff and I got to spend to whole morning together and I loved it. It doesn't matter what we do or where we go, as long as we are together, I am guaranteed a wonderful time. After God, of course, Jeff is my most favorite person in the whole world. Once we got back I got to go to a great little place here in Laurel called Doodle Bugz. It is this awesome place where you can go and do ceramics. I LOVE to paint and do it all of the time but have never done anything like this before. I have officially found my new favorite hobby. I am deeply in love with bunny rabbits and have them all over my house. Of course I painted the sweetest little bunny you have ever seen. After I finished there we left for Clarkco where we had a blast. That alone would have been a great weekend but NOOOOOOO, God wasn't finished blessing me yet. He is SOOOOOO good to undeserving me!!!! I actually got kind of mad about something today and almost let it rob me of the blessing God had in store for me tonight. I will spare you all of the details. Just to touch on it I will say that I was under the impression that someone had already gotten me a ticket to my most favorite Christian group in the world--Big Daddy Weave. He is my all time FAVORITE and he came here to Laurel. I was so excited until I found out that my ticket had been given away. A smarter person would have accepted defeat and walked away. Instead I got very angry and made up my mind that NOTHING was going to stop me from going to this concert. Alot happened this afternoon but in a nut shell I will say that I wound up with a free ticket and even though I had to camp out for 3 hours, I got a FRONT ROW seat. How about them apples????? That just goes to show that if you want something badly enough, you can get it!!! Oh yea, I did not have time to even change my clothes after church. I looked like such an old lady up there with all of those teenagers jumping around and slam dancing. I was wearing Aerosoles shoes for crying out loud!! I had pearls on my ears and cuffed dress slacks. I am sure I was a sight. I stood up and screamed and danced and waved my arms and hands just like every other kid that was there. I just happen to be 35 and dressed like my granny. I absolutely didn't care. I was there to receive a blessing and that is just what I got. My anger melted away the minute I heard those wonderful words which had been inspired by God. I realized that even though I felt I was wronged, God is so merciful to me and just so giving that my anger was just silly. Who cares!!!! I was dancing in fields of Grace with BIG DADDY WEAVE ON THE FRONT ROW!!!!!! So NAH!!!!!!!!!

This was sweaty, shiny me after the concert!

I'm glad that you had a good time ... REGARDLESS! Wished we could have gone to Clarkco on Saturday, but other things took precedence. Can't wait until we can "get out of Dodge" together. Love ya!
