We had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend! We actually had planned a camping trip to Archusa. Jeff spent Thursday getting our camper and truck packed and ready to pull out Friday morning. He decided to go turkey hunting (of course) before we left but only stayed for a few minutes and came home with a severe stomach virus. Needless to say, he spent the entire day in the bed with a high fever and chills. Will and I spent the day together out doors to enjoy our glorious world that God has given us and also to stay away from those germs!! We shopped for an Easter dress for me. He usually will not go with me to "girl shop" as he calls it but this weekend he really didn't have a choice. He made me laugh out loud a hundred times. He chose many dresses that he thought was pretty (they were not pretty to me!) . Being that he was trying to help me, I knew that I had to try them on at the very least. One was a spaghetti strap floor length dress with a hideous kelly green sweater. For those of you who do not know me, I do not quite have the physique for a spaghetti strap anything. We finally decideded on something together. Saturday we played outside while Jeff continued to recuperate. On Sunday we all overslept!!!! We didn't get up until 8:44 AM. Sunday School starts at 9:15 and we live about 20 minutes away from church! WE WERE LATE!!!!! Even so, the day was beautiful, the sermon was good, everone looked spiffy and lunch was terrific! We spent the afternoon with the Hicks family and enjoyed wonderful fellowship. We capped the weekend off with a "camping trip" in the driveway. Jeff, Will and his little friend Slade Hicks made a camp fire in our copper fire pit Sunday night. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We had a "no going in the house rule" (except for me of course. ha ha). I left the boys and Jeff snoozing away in the camper this morning. In and among all of the fun we also had alot of time to reflect on the wondrous meaning of Easter. With every blade of green grass, every blooming azalea and Bradford pear, I am reminded of the gift of Life our precious Savior gave to me! Thank you Jesus for your selfless gift to the world!!

Rebecca, this sounds typical for the Taylor family! Something is always going to happen! I hope Jeff is feeling better and nobody else gets sick. I am excited to see y'all in May. That is IF NOTHING happens!!!!
